Scholarships
There are scholarships available at the Oregon Model United Nations Conference. Seniors who will be starting college in the Fall of 2026 are eligible to apply. Applications are due by 6PM Friday April 11.
The Nobel Peace Laureate Project offers two scholarships. Each scholarship is $2,500. These scholarships are open to seniors who are current participants in the Model United Nations Conference and who will be attending a college, trade school, or career program in the fall. Scholarships will be paid directly to the institution when students enroll.

Nominees must be a high school senior.
These scholarships, like the Nobel Peace Prizes, recognize diverse contributions. Awardees may be chosen for fostering community, helping others, building positive environments, promoting cooperation, reducing conflict or misunderstanding, or for other contributions.
Nominations must be turned in by 6 PM on Friday.
Selection of the recipient will be made by the Executive Board of the Oregon High School Model United Nations Program.
Award will be presented at the closing general session.
A permanent record of award recipients will be made part of the Nobel Peace Park in Alton Baker Park in Eugene, Oregon.
Awardees’ contributions will be recognized at the Nobel Peace Park Community Festival on September 21, 2025 in Eugene, Oregon.

The University of Oregon Admissions Office awards a $1000.00 scholarship each year to an attendee of the Oregon High School Model United Nations Conference who is enrolled to attend or will be enrolled to attend the University of Oregon in the fall. This scholarship is only open to graduating seniors and will only be applied to tuition expenses.
The Oregon International Relations League- Model United Nations offers two Scholarships. Each Scholarship is $500. They are named The Executive Director Scholarship and the James Barlow Scholarship. These scholarships are open to seniors who are current participants in the Model United Nations Conference who will be attending college in the fall.
